Raiden Resources plans archeological survey for Andover North Lithium Project

Raiden Resources has announced plans to conduct an archaeological heritage survey for its Andover North Lithium Project in the western Pilbara region of Western Australia. Scheduled for April 2nd, this survey marks a significant step for the company as it seeks to explore potential lithium deposits in the area, located about 35 kilometers southeast of Karratha.lithium

The survey will be carried out in collaboration with the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation and will commence immediately after the completion of a survey over priority areas in Andover South, which Raiden secured just last week.

Raiden’s focus will be on areas underlain by the Andover complex ultramafic rocks, which are believed to be highly prospective for hosting pegmatite mineralization, including lithium-bearing pegmatites. Historical and recent data suggest that these rocks exhibit a consistent magnetic signature, indicating the potential for significant mineral deposits.

Following the survey, Raiden plans to initiate an initial air core drilling campaign to identify targets for subsequent diamond or Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling campaigns. The company is committed to respecting areas of cultural significance and will avoid drilling in such locations out of respect for the Ngarluma Traditional Owners.

Managing Director of Raiden Resources, Dusko Ljubojevic, expressed optimism about the upcoming survey and its potential impact on future drilling campaigns. He emphasized the importance of securing heritage surveys for both Andover North and Andover South projects, highlighting the company’s dedication to responsible exploration practices.
