GreenRoc Mining has been awarded a £250,000 grant from the UK’s Automotive Transformation Fund (“ATF”) to establish the first graphite processing facility outsider of China. ATF is a programme to develop an end-to-end electrified automotive supply chain for Electric Vehicles (“EVs”) in the UK.

In this latest interview with focusIR, Stefan Bernstien, CEO of GreenRoc mining, highlights that all the World’s EV battery ready graphite is currently entirely processed in China and explains to investors how GreenRoc Mining could become a significant player in the supply chain of graphite for EV batteries for the UK in terms of security of supply and achieving resilience in the EV battery sector.

In particular, Stefan explains how this grant will part-fund the Company’s feasibility study to assesses the economic viability of building a graphite spheronisation processing plant, close to sources of renewable energy, at the Company’s World Class graphite project in Southern Greenland.
