GazpromNeft obtains access to two gas fields in Serbia
Gazprom Neft said that it had obtained the right to use subsoil of two gas fields in Serbia. Gazprom Neft is a subsidiary of Russia’s state-owned energy giant Gazprom.
“Two permits were obtained to use the subsoil of Rusanda Plitko and Martonos West in Serbia,” the company said, cited by the TASS news agency.
According to the report, Gazprom Neft holds 56 percent of shares of NIS – Serbia’s formerly state-owned enterprise – now “a vertically integrated oil and gas company working on the Southeast European market.”
The main areas of Serbian subsidiary’s operations are exploration, production and processing of oil and gas along with sales of a wide range of oil products, said TASS.
