Chaarat Gold’ Kapan mining operations in Armenia minimally affected by Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

The AIM-quoted gold mining company Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd has an operating mine in Armenia, and assets at various stages of development in the Kyrgyz Republic. The company said the impact of military action between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh region has been “minimal” on the company’s operations. Nagorno-Karabakh is about 150 kilometres away from its Kapan operations, the mining company said.

“Management and the team on the ground continuously monitor the situation, have business continuity plans in place to react quickly to any new developments and monitor supply chains on a daily basis,” the company said.
