Conroy Gold Trenching Shows Gold at Mines Royal in Northern Ireland

Conroy Gold & Natural Resources on Monday said results from its trenching program at its Mines Royal option area, County Armagh in Northern Ireland, showed high gold grades.

The Ireland and Finland-focused mining company said they include a gold intersection of 1.0 meter, at 64.3 grams per metric ton of gold, confirming the bedrock source of high-quartz breccia samples.

Trenching around 35 metres south of the discovery identified quartz breccia from which a grab sample returned 17.5 grams per metric ton of gold. A drilling program has started following from the results, it said.

“This trenching program has further highlighted the potential of this area, with further gold zones identified in quartz veins and fault gouge together with the high grade quartz breccia initially discovered,” Chairman Richard Conroy said.
