Adriatic Metals reports record production growth at Rupice mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Adriatic Metals reported continued production growth and positive developments at the Rupice mine in Bosnia & Herzegovina, marking August as a “milestone month.” The company noted that mined grades surpassed expectations and monthly production reached record levels, with a total ore output of 25,514 tonnes—up from 5,595 tonnes in July.

Development rates also achieved a record high of 318 meters, exceeding the forecast of 300 meters per month. Looking ahead, Adriatic Metals plans to double the number of active stopes by December 2024 and increase available headings from 11 to 15, aiming for commercial production by year-end.

CEO Laura Tyler expressed confidence in the project’s progress, highlighting that most construction is complete and permitting for the Veovaca tailings facility is expected soon. She anticipates uninterrupted production through 2025, despite using the temporary tailings storage facility.
